Another Stupid Week Miscellany
- After a wonderful four day weekend, and conference, I head back to work tomorrow. Last Wednesday was kind of rough, and I’m not looking forward to another week of crap from people.
- The conference way good. I sat in on a presentation about LeHigh’s Enrollment Management Suite implementation. I think it would give us an advantage, but it needs more work.
- The upside about where I work is that we get Holy Days off. So I have a three day weekend coming up.
- I had a steak with Gorgonzola on it tonight. I swear Gorgonzola was invented just so it could be put onto steaks, that was something else!
- Jayme proofread my paper and my admissions essay, and once those changes are made I’m going to bite the bullet and apply.
- Jayme is back in Huntington, WV until Thursday. Sometimes I wonder how long this is going to go on, my wife and I constantly not being around each other I mean. Honestly, there is no end in sight and its quite likely that this is just going to be the course of our marriage.
- I made some good progress on some projects over the holiday. I got normals and distances working in my qhull port. I finished the photo album webpage I wrote for Deb. You can see it in action at trinitario.org.
- I took the hard drive out of my old laptop and put it in an external hard drive enclosure (~$50). Buying it is counting as my Christmas present, but finally I have something secure to put stuff on. Also, you can create compressed ntfs partitions from Linux. That’s really neat.
- Every time I think my dogs are as cute as they can get, they do something even cuter.
